These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of https://financeevents.co and your participation in events organized by Finance Events Inc. (“Finance Events,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By purchasing a ticket or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

   You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your province or territory of residence, to purchase a ticket, register for an event, or otherwise agree to these Terms on your own behalf. If you are registering on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Event Registration & Payment

   • All ticket sales are processed securely through our payment provider.
   • Prices are listed in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated.
   • Payment must be received in full before your registration is confirmed.
   • This website is operated by Finance Events Inc., located at 120 Albany Avenue, Toronto, ON M5R 3C4, Canada.

3. Refunds & Cancellations

   • Unless otherwise stated on the event page, tickets are non-refundable.
   • If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person by notifying us in writing at least 7 days before the event.
   • Finance Events reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events. In such cases, you will be offered a credit or refund.

4. Attendee Information

   • By registering, you agree that your name, company, and contact details may be included in our networking app for attendee-to-attendee connections, unless you opt out.
   • You agree not to misuse attendee information for unsolicited marketing or spam.

5. Code of Conduct

   All attendees must conduct themselves in a professional manner. We reserve the right to remove any participant from an event without refund if their behaviour is disruptive, inappropriate, or violates applicable laws.

6. Intellectual Property

   All event materials, logos, and content are the property of Finance Events Inc. and may not be reproduced without permission.

7. Photography and Recording Consent

   By registering for and attending this event, you consent to and authorize Finance Events and its partners and representatives to photograph and record you (whether in audio or video format) and grant Finance Events the right to use, exhibit, post, display, broadcast and/or distribute your photograph and any such recordings in external communications and on social media sites.

8. Sponsors and Exhibitors

   If you participate as a sponsor, exhibitor, or partner at one of our events, your participation may be subject to a separate sponsorship or exhibitor agreement in addition to these Terms. Where the terms of that agreement conflict with these Terms, the sponsorship or exhibitor agreement will govern for matters it specifically addresses.

9. Limitation of Liability

   To the fullest extent permitted by law:

   • Finance Events is not liable for any loss, injury, or damages arising from your participation in our events.
   • We are not responsible for the actions of other attendees or third-party service providers.

10. Force Majeure

    Finance Events will not be held responsible for any failure or delay in performance, or for any event cancellation or modification, caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, public health emergencies, labour disputes, or failures of third-party venues or service providers.

11. Indemnification

    You agree to indemnify and hold Finance Events, its officers, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of our website or participation in our events.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

    These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your participation in our events will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in that jurisdiction.

13. Severability

    If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement

    These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any event-specific terms provided to you at the time of registration, constitute the entire agreement between you and Finance Events regarding your use of our website and participation in our events, and supersede any prior agreements.

15. Changes to These Terms

    We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our website or attendance at our events constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
